ABOUT
Regina Vargas (b. 1995, Mexico City) is a fourth-generation painter whose work bridges her rich cultural heritage with a contemporary perspective.
Now based in New York City, Regina’s work is deeply rooted in her Mexican identity, using painting as a means of staying connected to the warmth and everyday beauty of the culture she comes from.
Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, Regina weaves vibrant color, texture, architecture, and still life composition to transform themes of heritage, memory, and daily ritual into dynamic visual narratives that are both personal and universal.
